Introduction-Bipolar Disorder

The project we chose is Bipolar Disorder. Scientists think that the cause of this disorder is from genetic factors. Nationally, 3 million people in the United States have Bipolar Disorder. Some treatments that they have are medications and psychotherapy. Bipolar Disorder is a mental illness in which a person alternates between periods of severe depression and periods of mania(extreme joy). Some famous people with bipolar are Ludwig Von Beethoven, Jim Carey, and Buzz Aldrin.
